Refurbishment of OT kitchen at the Hartington Unit, Chesterfield Royal Hospital

Based on the Chesterfield Royal Hospital site, the Hartington Unit is the Trust’s main inpatient service for Chesterfield and North Derbyshire residents with acute mental health needs. The works involve the upgrade of the existing OT kitchen within the Unit and include: Strip out and disposal of all existing kitchen units, electrical sockets, lighting and extract system; stripping back pipework and removing dead legs; removal of walls and infilling sections of walls. Installation of new electrical power, lighting and extract system with all cabling within steel conduit. Installation of all plumbing associated with the kitchen. Supply and fit of new Deanestor kitchen units plus white goods; supply and fit of new safety flooring; making good all disturbed and full decoration throughout. The work will be carried out within a fully operational mental health unit employing a locked door policy within the confines of the working area.
