Enabling Works to Carlton Street and Wyvern Multi-Storey Car Parks Prior to Demolition

Swindon Borough Council invites expressions of interest from suitably qualified and experienced service providers for the provision of the enabling works that are to be carried out across two sites in preparation for the demolition of Carlton St. and Wyvern multi-storey car parks (MSCPs) in Swindon. Scope of Works - The enabling works will comprise of the following: Site 1 – Carlton St. MSCP 1. Site Clearance and Hoarding/Fencing to form the Site Compound for the Demolition Contractor 2. Site Clearance, Fencing and Surfacing to form the Temporary Car Park in Turl St. 3. Fencing of the Temporary Bus Park in Turl St. 4. Road construction, Line Markings, Fencing and Building Works to form Temporary Bus Route from Turl St to Carfax Close. 5. Road and Pavement construction to widen Bus Exit from Bus Station to Manchester Rd. 6. All associated Street Works including widening of highway, dropped kerbs, street signage and formation of new temporary junction. Site 2 – Wyvern MSCP 1. Hoarding/Fencing and Festoon Lighting to form the Site Compound for the Demolition Contractor, Police Car Park and BT Car Park in Princess St Car Park 2. All associated Street Works including dropped kerbs and street signage. Full details relating to the Works are provided in the RFQ documentation.
