Tender description

The building is generally structurally sound, and as such works to the structure are intended to be limited only to works necessary to enhance the internal space. The major focus of the works is to the roof and internal remodelling and fit out. The Market building footprint is not altered by the works. The Works will comprise:- Strip roof coverings, dispose of asbestos slates, install new rooflights and insulation and supply and install new roof coverings Replace existing single glazed window units with new double glazed units Create new glazed openings for café and retail unit Create feature brick canopy to main entrance Complete strip out of M&E services and replacement with new Complete strip out of existing internal FFE New market stalls, café area, toilets and installation of a commercial grade kitchen Creation of a self-contained retail/commercial unit at Queens St fitted out to Cat A Internal decorations Limited external works
