UK SBS FM150048 Minor Laboratory Alterations

Tender description

The final date and time for the submission of bids is Friday 5th June 2015 at 11:00 am The National Oceanography Centre (NOC) are seeking tenders from suitably experienced contractors for the refurbishment/upgrade of a small laboratory situated on the ground floor of the main NOC building in Southampton. The works are to comprise of the stripping out of services, cleaning of the existing ceiling tiles, cleaning the vinyl flooring and decoration. New data and IP rated power sockets are to be installed together with new gas lines and gas level detection equipment. Waterproof wall boarding is to be installed and some of the original cupboards refitted together with new laboratory grade worktop. A new sink and taps form part of the specification and a new salt water supply will need to be installed to serve the laboratory. Prospective contractors should be aware that this project will need to be fully completed by the 31st of July 2015. Please see attached documentation for more information.
