Provision of a Inter-Hospital ?Shuttle Bus? Service for Warrington and Halton Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust

Tender description

Warrington and Halton Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is an acute trust providing services to Primary and Secondary care users with over 4,000 members of staff and servicing around 500,000 patients per year. The Trust is based on two separate sites, Warrington Hospital WA5 1QG and Halton Hospital, Runcorn WA7 2DA. On its journey, the bus makes a stop at the Cheshire and Merseyside Treatment Centre to drop off and pick up at clinic times before going on to Warrington. The journey takes around 25 minutes. A shuttle bus service between the two Hospitals is provided free of charge to staff, patients and visitors. The Trust is inviting bids for the supply of the shuttle bus service for the specified period. The shuttle bus will be required to operate a seven day service, including Bank Holidays (excluding Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year's Day). Transporting staff patients and visitors, directly to the main entrance at each site, with no intervening stops.
