BARNSLEY METROPOLITAN BOROUGH COUNCILFINANCE, PROPERTY AND INFORMATION SERVICES SELECT TENDER LIST Project: Summer Lane Primary - New Modular Classroom Extension and Internal Alterations to Existing Classrooms and Community Room - READVERTISED DUE TO CHANGE IN METHOD OF CONSTRUCTION Ref: 07-17-16-1-1026 Estimated value: £225,000 Contract Start: Anticipated 13 July 2015 Contract Completion: Anticipated 9 October 2015 Description of Works: New single storey extension and link to the existing school comprising single classroom with toilet accommodation including associated groundworks, external works, including concrete retaining wall and drainage together with some minor alterations to classrooms and other areas within the existing school. The extension will be constructed with structural timber frame and have a ground bearing concrete floor slab. Works will be executed mainly during term time with the school occupied and in use.
