Bulky Items Treatment / Disposal

Tender description

Halton Borough council would like to invite quotes for the treatment and disposal of household bulky waste items. Halton Borough Council collect the waste from households within the borough. The service required from the contract is the provision of a site (or sites) for the deposit of collected household bulky items, it's storage, diversion from landfill by recycling or other forms of treatment, bulking up and were required onward transport of waste to designated disposal or recycling facilities. Waste will be delivered to facilities in mixed loads, non compacted in box vans / tipping vehicles. Currently, the bulky waste service operates for two days per week, and two loads per day, however, this may increase depening on demand.
