Framework agreement for Protected/Conservation works & Fitout/Refurbishment Works (Minor works)

Tender description

Digital Hub Development Agency (DHDA) is considering a number of projects including conservation, repair and fit out on DHDA properties over the next 4 years. DHDA propose to create a framework agreement of suitable qualified contractors who will be invited to enter mini competitions for these works. The projects involve fabric and structural upgrading, including mechanical, electrical, lifts, strip outs and fit out works, making safe buildings, water proofing structures, masonry rebuilding and ancillary stabilisation. The project capital costs are typically €500,000-€5,186,000. Certain properties have protected structure status and are in a conservation area. Contractors must demonstrate successful experience in works of a high quality and in the repair and refurbishment of the structure, services and finishes of historic and protected buildings using conservation principals and techniques, along with demonstrating previous fit out works experience, and who have full knowledge of Safety, Health and Welfare (Construction) Regulations in 2006 and as amended in 2010 and any other relevant Regulations during the period of the Framework. Tenderers who have the expertise to fulfil the role of Project Supervisor for Construction Stage as defined by the regulations will be invited to tender.
