New entrance works at IDA Cluster Units Sligo Business Park, Finisklin

The contract was awarded to Gibbons Builders & Civil Engineering The Scope of Works for the New Entrance and Associated Works at Fohrenbach Precision Sligo (Industrial Buildings known as the Finisklin Cluster Units) is summarised as follows: • Site clearance including removal and disposal of bushes and trees. • Excavate existing grass verge to formation and construct a new car park with associated drainage, kerbing and line marking as shown on the contract drawings. • Carry out changes to the vehicular entrance to include closing the existing two entrances and replacing them with one entrance. • Installation of 3 No. sets of pedestrian lines, stripes, zigzag markings and pedestrian crossing beacons to form a Zebra Crossing at 3 No. existing pedestrian crossings on Finisklin Road (in accordance with the Department of Transport Traffic Signs Manual RPC 001 and RPC 002). • Associated ancillary works. The Contractor will be required to act as the Project Supervisor for the Construction Stage in accordance with the Safety, Health and Welfare at Work (Construction) Regulations 2006. The full scope of the Works and the obligations of the Contractor are to be ascertained by reference to the Contract as a whole.
