Civil Engineering Upgrade Works to IDA Industrial Estate Charleville, Co. Cork

Tender description

This project entails upgrade works to the exsiting lighting system, foul water repair works, hydrant and sluice valve repairs and road remediation works.The road works are divided into two different remediation works (Reconstruction and Resurfacing) which are to be carried out to NRA specification as per instruction in tender drawings. The Resurfacing of the road shall involve the planing of existing carraigeway and overlaying with a new asphalt concrete binder and surface course. Road reconstruction will require the removal and disposal of existing carraigeway and reconstruction of a new road structure including sub base, asphalt concrete binder and surface course. The contractor is also required to carry out washing, repairs and a CCTV footage of existing foul sewer system upon completion of the works. A specialist contractor must be sought to carry out repairs to the existing lighting system and is responsible for liasing with the ESB regarding connection.
