***** This contract has been awarded to Deighton Manufacturing***** BIM Propose installing a Pilot forming, battering, breading, flash-frying equipment for reformed seafood products in the Seafood Development Centre (SDC) to test product development and assist the Irish seafood in adding value. New opportunities are emerging for reformed seafood products utilising underutilised species particularly. Working with the SDC, seafood companies are considering investments in developing these relatively low cost species into competitive seafood snacking and food service products such as fish cakes and goujons .
