Find a Tender: UK public procurement notices
Find a Tender (FTS) is the UK government's central portal for public procurement notices. It launched on 31 December 2020, replacing Tenders Electronic Daily (TED) after the UK left the EU procurement system.
From 24 February 2025, FTS publishes both above and below threshold notices for new UK procurements, except below threshold in Scotland. Above threshold notices outside Scotland now cover the full contract lifecycle, from pipeline to termination. Below threshold notices continue on Contracts Finder for England, Public Contracts Scotland, Sell2Wales, and eSourcing NI or eTendersNI for Northern Ireland.
Current thresholds (1 January 2026 to 31 December 2027) start at £135,018 including VAT for central government goods and services, £207,720 for sub-central government, and £5,193,000 for works and utility works contracts.

What is the difference between Find a Tender and Contracts Finder?
For procurements started from 24 February 2025, Find a Tender publishes both above and below threshold notices for new UK procurements, except below threshold in Scotland. For procurements that started before that date, Find a Tender carries only above threshold notices (usually over £139,688 including VAT). Contracts Finder continues to hold below threshold information for England and other non-devolved territories from that earlier period.
What are the current Find a Tender thresholds?
For 1 January 2026 to 31 December 2027, the main thresholds (including VAT) are £135,018 for central government goods or services, £207,720 for sub-central government goods or services, £5,193,000 for works contracts, £5,193,000 for utility works, £415,440 for utility goods or services, and £663,540 for other light touch contracts. GPA-aligned thresholds are refreshed every two years to reflect the UK's WTO Government Procurement Agreement obligations. Light touch thresholds are updated separately when needed.
