Two routes in. Search the portals for whatever is live, or work earlier from award history and buyer strategy documents. Stotles pulls notices from 100+ portals into one search, so a managed PKI renewal at one department and a hardware security module refresh at another turn up in the same list. Platform-wide, 2 notices were added in the last seven days and 2,148 are open now.

Because most of this spend is renewal work. Of the 353 notices under this filter, 188 are awarded contracts and 3 are open. Licence renewals for encryption software and managed certificate services are commonly handled as direct awards or as call-offs against an existing framework, so they surface as an award notice and never appear as an open competition. Watching expiry dates beats watching the open list. Platform-wide, 39,994 awarded contracts are due to expire in the next twelve months.

There is no single code for it. Across a 50 notice sample the most common were 48000000 (Software package and information systems) and 72000000 (IT services: consulting, software development, Internet and support), with 48732000 (Data security software package) sitting on the records that are specifically about encryption hardware and software. Codes are not used to filter this page. Applied on top of the keywords they cut the results from 353 notices to 145, because plenty of on-intent notices carry a neighbouring code or none at all.

Four recurring shapes. Managed public key infrastructure and certificate authority services, usually multi-year and run for a whole department. Hardware security modules, bought as appliances with licensing and installation attached. Endpoint, disk and removable media encryption, bought by licence count. And data encryption written into a much larger IT or network contract, where it is one requirement rather than the subject. That last shape is why a search on the bare word encryption returns 917 notices while only 353 are genuinely about buying it.

Start from the awards. 188 of the 353 notices under this filter are awarded contracts, and each one names the buyer, the supplier and, where the publisher supplied it, an expiry date. Working back from expiry gives you a rough retender window and a named incumbent to plan against. Platform-wide, 2 award notices were published in the last seven days.
