Escalator Management Contract

Tender description

The contract will manage 172 escalators across the Transport for London (TfL) network. The supplier will be responsible for delivering a programme of escalator replacements and refurbishments including design and manufacture as well as the planned and reactive maintenance of these escalators for the initial term of 16 years, with the option to extend by further periods of up to 3 years, and with a maximum total duration of 19 years. The supplier will be responsible for managing these escalators including the provision of spare parts as may be required for repair or replacement. The contract may be relied upon by TfL or any other member of the TfL Group.
