Tender description

The Public Prosecution Service (PPS) (the Buyer), which was established in 2005, is the principal prosecuting authority in Northern Ireland. In addition to taking decisions as to prosecution in all cases investigated by the Police Service of Northern Ireland, the PPS also considers cases investigated by other statutory authorities, for example, Her Majesty’s Revenue and Customs and the Office of the Police Ombudsman for Northern Ireland. PPS wishes to engage a supplier to design and deliver a range of recruitment tests and exercises. The Supplier will be required to draft legal assessments for PPS recruitment competitions for legal grades, including, for example: Public Prosecutor, Principal Public Prosecutor, and Senior Public Prosecutor. This is not an exhaustive list and PPS reserve the right to add and remove competitions as required. This is a demand led requirement. Supplier participation will be required for all recruitment exercises for relevant grades held during the contract period. The contract is for an initial period of four years followed by an optional extension period of one year. Suppliers should refer to the Specification for full detail of the requirements.
