Mini Competition for the Structural Testing and Visual Inspection of Lighting Columns

Tender description

The Council has an ongoing requirement for a Contract for Structural Testing and Visual Inspection of Lighting Columns for use by South Lanarkshire Council Roads, Transportation and Fleet Services. The Procurement Service identified a suitable and accessible Framework as follows: - YPO Street Lighting Products and Services Framework reference 1259 – Lot 5 Testing Service (YPO Ref: CFC0653) Lot 1: A Mini Competition was be undertaken using the providers listed under Lot 5 of the YPO Street Lighting Products and Services Framework reference 1259. The YPO Street Lighting Products and Services Framework reference 1259 shall be a completely electronic system established in accordance with the Procurement (Scotland) Regulations 2015. The Framework permits the Council to undertake a call off by either Mini Competition or Direct Award and based on the Council's own internal guidance. The contract will be based on the NEC 3 Term Service Short Contract April 2013 for a period of 4 years. The weighting for this mini competition was 65% Technical and 35% Commercial.
