North Ayrshire Council is looking to appoint a new supplier for the treatment of post-consumer mixed plastics, beverage cartons (cardboard lined cartons) cans & glass containers. The project will be a DPS tender via the Scotland Excel Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) for the Treatment and Disposal of Recyclable and Residual Waste (SXL 27-17), Lot 1 - Treatment of Co-mingled Mixed Recyclate. The resultant contract will be in place for an initial 12 months, with an option to extend for 3 x 12 months periods. For this waste stream it is estimated to be 7,300 tonnes per annum and this is anticipated to provide an income for the Council. Lot 1: North Ayrshire Council is looking to appoint a new supplier for the treatment of post-consumer mixed plastics, beverage cartons (cardboard lined cartons) cans & glass containers.. The estimated value of the 105,631.00 GBP, noting this is an INCOME. The income value may vary in accordance with monthly contamination levels and recyclate market values. A review of the contractor’s baseline bid price will take place prior to the contract start date and every six months in accordance with the contract conditions and Price Review Methodology within the contract documentation.
