Smoke Ventilation Maintenance Services

Tender description

It is the University’s statutory duty to maintain and repair the smoke ventilation systems in all these premises and this contract is designed to ensure this duty is fulfilled, and that fully functional and operational smoke ventilation systems are in place throughout. It will be the Service Provider’s duty to carry out all maintenance as and when required and meet the compliances. Ulster University is seeking to appoint a Service Provider that will provide maintenance, servicing and repair to all the Smoke Ventilation Systems and associated equipment in accordance with the British Standards and Manufacturer's Maintenance Schedule on an all-inclusive basis on all campuses (i.e. at no extra cost to the university). Including services for the following: • Automatic Opening Vents or Windows (AOV’s) • Colt Smoke Ventilation Systems (This will require the contractor to be a direct Colt agent) • Fire Dampers • Roof Hatches • Smoke Ventilation Systems • Smoke Curtain Systems • End of Life Device Replacements - provide the decommissioning and disposal of existing end of life equipment and the installation, testing and commissioning of new replacement equipment.
