Tender description

The purpose of this RFI is to inform the BBC’s understanding of the current market, including available technical solutions, delivery approaches, and financing models, to support the development of future procurement strategy and specifications. This RFI is intended to gather indicative, non-binding information only. Responding to this RFI will help the BBC to: • understand current market capabilities for the design, installation, operation, and maintenance of solar PV systems across a multi-site estate; • assess the availability and maturity of different delivery and financing models, including self-financed approaches, third-party financing, and Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) structures; • understand whether the BBC’s requirements are best met through integrated solutions or through separate technical and financing providers; • gather indicative information on commercial structures, costs, and timescales associated with different delivery and funding routes; • identify any material barriers, dependencies, or constraints that could affect implementation
