Tender description

Donegal County Council are seeking competent marine contractors to remove sand type material, using the plough dredging technique, from the access channel to Buncrana pier. Dredging operations will be required to achieve a 10m wide (at the base), -1.5m CD deep channel with 30 degree sloped sides. The successful contractor will be required to comply with the conditions of the Dumping at Sea Licence (S0011-03) issued by the EPA.
