Tender description

The Contracting Authority, Comhlacht Forbartha Áitiúil Acla (CFÁA), seeks to appoint a single suitably experienced contractor to deliver the detailed design, content development, manufacture, supply, installation and fit-out of a re-imagined heritage interpretation space within the Achill Experience Aquarium and Visitor Centre. The project aims to transform the existing heritage exhibition—currently presented through static wall panels—into a more contemporary, engaging and accessible interpretive experience, better integrated with the aquarium and designed to increase visitor dwell time, spend and appeal to new audiences interested in history, heritage and culture. A high-level interpretive and design vision has already been prepared and is included in the tender package; this forms the basis for delivery.
