Tender description

The Smokefree App provides 24 hour access to specialist stop smoking support to anyone who is resident, working, or studying in City and Hackney. The app has been available in City and Hackney since 2024. In 25-26, over 200 people used the app to support a quit attempt. The app is designed to complement the core SSS - Gloji Smokefree which offers in-person and remote stop smoking support. Gloji does not offer 24 hour support - which means that some smokers may be excluded - if they are unavailable during typical weekday working hours for example. Research led by the LTA showed that there is a strong appetite among smokers in London for app based stop smoking support that is flexible and discreet. The LTA also provides some marketing activity to drive engagement with the app on a whole-London basis.
