CYP Palliative and End of Life Care and Community Services

Tender description

NHS Thames Valley ICB (the Commissioner) wishes to inform the market of its intention to follow the Most Suitable Provider (MSP) process for the award of a contract for a CYP Palliative and End of Life Care and Community Service. The service will provide palliative and end-of-life care for babies, children and young people with life-limiting conditions across the Thames Valley. The Commissioner has a strong preference for providers that can demonstrate established specialist paediatric palliative care infrastructure, delivers specialist medical input within the current Thames Valley pathway, and is already embedded in relevant referral and clinical governance arrangements. Providers who believe they are capable of delivering this service are invited to express their interest by completing the questionnaire before the deadline of midnight 07 September 2026. The Commissioner will not begin identifying or assessing potential providers until after this period, in accordance with the Provider Selection Regime. The contract duration is 3-years, and the anticipated service commencement date is October 2026.
