Tender description

Provision of advice regarding tartan registrations, as well as responding to queries raised in relation to proposed tartans and tartans that are already registered by the SRTA. Lot 1: Provision of specialist expert advice regarding tartans and tartan registrations to the Scottish Register of Tartans. The contract has been awarded using a negotiated procedure without prior publication due to the absence of competition for technical reasons. The required services can only be delivered by a particular supplier due to their unique and highly specialised expertise in tartan design and heritage, and their recognised authority in this niche field. No reasonable alternative or substitute exists, and competition is therefore absent.
