Design and build contract for installation of fire-rated glazing and doors

Tender description

The Council is seeking to appoint Magic Projects London Limited to provide design-and-build services for the installation of fire-rated internal glazing and doors in the Block D community/commercial space in Woodberry Down. The works will replace part of an existing solid fire-rated partition wall with glazed panels and improved doors to improve visibility, natural daylight and accessibility while maintaining fire safety compliance in a higher-risk building. Magic Projects London Limited will be responsible for design development, liaison with Building Control and other key stakeholders, procurement of specialist fire-rated glazing and delivery of the works through to completion. Surman Weston will act as the designer and project manager under the contractor’s appointment.
