This Procurement project is required to address ongoing rota gaps that cannot currently be filled by existing staff, resulting in a shortfall of 8 x 8-hour shifts per week. These unfilled shifts present a clear risk to patient care, safety, staff wellbeing, and the overall quality and continuity of service delivery, with the potential for increased waiting times, service disruption, and pressure on remaining staff.<br/><br/>This is a Provider Selection Regime (PSR) confirmation of contract award notice. This contract has been awarded under the Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023. For the avoidance of doubt, the provisions of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 do not apply to this award. This contract has now been formally awarded using the urgent award process. Lot 1: Under Regulation 14 (Urgent Awards) of the Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023, the Relevant Authority, South Tees Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, enacted an emergency award process to address immediate risks to patient/public safety. The delay required to follow standard provider selection processes was not viable.<br/><br/>This is a Provider Selection Regime (PSR) confirmation of contract award notice. This contract has been awarded under the Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023. For the avoidance of doubt, the provisions of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 do not apply to this award.
