Tender description

The City of Doncaster Council is undertaking a market engagement exercise to better understand the current market for the provision of: • Operated plant (plant with operator) • Non operated plant (self-drive hire) • Vehicles (without drivers) • Portable Buildings The purpose of this engagement is to: • Understand current market capacity, availability and constraints • Identify key risks such as operator/driver shortages, seasonal pressures and supply chain challenges • Review pricing structures and inflation drivers • Seek feedback on a proposed procurement approach • Ensure any future procurement is proportionate, accessible and easy for suppliers to engage with This is not a call for competition and does not form part of any formal procurement process.
