Tender description

VMware Cloud Foundation provides the core platform components required to operate COPFS’s existing VMware estate, including compute virtualisation, storage, networking, and management capabilities, under Broadcom’s revised subscription only licensing framework. Lot 1: COPFS requires the procurement of VMware Cloud Foundation subscription licences to support its on‑premises virtualisation and private cloud environment following the expiry of the existing VMware Enterprise Licence Agreement in June 2026 (COPFS‑2023‑055). This procurement ensures continued access to vendor support, security updates and platform capabilities under Broadcom’s revised subscription‑based licensing model. The requirement is being fulfilled via the HealthTrust Europe (HTE) ICT Solutions 3 Framework, providing a compliant and efficient route to market and ensuring value for money.
