Tender description

The University of Edinburgh wishes to establish a Framework Agreement for the provision of "Evidence for Scotland’s Heat Transition – Clean Heat Retrofit Modelling and Recoverable Heat Sources" as outlined in Schedule 3 - Statement of Requirements. Lot 1: Modelling the Balance in Clean Heat and Energy Efficiency Investment. This Invitation to Tender ("ITT") is for an Open procedure which shall be conducted in accordance with the Public Contracts Scotland Regulations 2015 to establish a Framework Agreement. ClimateXChange(CXC) wishes to commission research and analysis to support the Scottish Government as it develops policies on reducing emissions, adapting to the impacts of climate change and enabling a just transition to net zero. Including the development of modelling that can be used to investigate the balance and trade-offs between investments in energy efficiency and clean heating measures. Please see further detail in Schedule 3. Lot 2: Potential Sources of Recoverable Heat for Heat Networks in Scotland. This Invitation to Tender ("ITT") is for an Open procedure which shall be conducted in accordance with the Public Contracts Scotland Regulations 2015 to establish a Framework Agreement. ClimateXChange(CXC) wishes to commission a project to provide an up-to-date picture of the potential sources of recoverable heat in Scotland and their characteristics.
