Maintenance of Fuijnon Stacks and Scopes

The renewal of the maintenance contract for Fujinon Stacks and Scopes across Hywel Dda University Health Boards' endoscopy units Lot 1: This is a renewal of the maintenance contract for the Fujinon Stacks and Scopes used across Hywel Dda University Health Board. The original equipment manufacturer (OEM) is Aquilant, and are essential for diagnostic, therapeutic, and surveillance procedures in gastroenterology, pulmonology, and ENT (ear, nose, and throat). The contract provides fully comprehensive cover for all devices, across the 12-month period. As the original equipment manufacturer (OEM), Aquilant has delivered maintenance support for the Fujinon Stacks and Scopes since the expiry of the purchase warranty in 2018. Using the OEM ensures that all maintenance meets the required standards by utilising genuine parts and specialist technical expertise, helping to safeguard both equipment reliability and patient care. This contract will be awarded through the NHS Supply Chain Framework Maintenance, Repair and Calibration of Medical Equipment, reference 2021/S000-021535.
