Tender description

Sale of Plastic Boxes/Material (previously used on a waste trolley box system) Lot 1: The contract will be to 'buy' from the council black plastic boxes/material previously used in waste trolley box system (polypropylene 05); there are 3 sizes - 40L, 55L and 70L. These will be collected from approximately 60,000 households across East Ayrshire and temporarily stored in 2 locations (one in Kilmarnock and one in Cumnock) to allow bulk collection by the successful Service Provider - refer to Description/Specification for specific collection requirements. It should be noted that exact numbers cannot be predicted but it is anticipated that there will be approximately 135,000 black plastic boxes of mixed sizes as above.
