Tender description

TfL's lifts are critical assets that facilitate the moving of passengers around the network- and as such it is essential that they perform to a high standard, notably around their availability. TfL is awarding a single contract to deliver the planned and reactive maintenance of c.112 lifts primarily located on the Jubilee, Northern and Piccadilly lines. The Supplier will deliver the planned preventative maintenance aligned to TfL's Cat 1 standards and will provide a 24/7 fault response service to address lift failures and entrapments. The Supplier will be required to carry out mid-life interventions of the lifts, as well as facilitating TfL and third party inspections. The contract has a duration of 5 years with an option to extend by up to a maximum of a further 4 years, 9 years maximum. Additional information: The total procurement value stated in this contract award notice comprises of the total contract value for the full potential 9-year contract duration and an estimated allowance for inflation over the full duration of the contract at an assumed rate. The value payable to the supplier for inflationary increases will be calculated throughout the life of the contract in accordance with the contractual mechanism to do so. The supplier's entitlement for inflationary increases may therefore vary from the amount included in this notice
