East Lothian Council and Midlothian Council are jointly commissioning a service to provide support to women and children who are affected by gender-based violence. Lot 1: East Lothian Council and Midlothian Council are jointly commissioning a service required to address the harmful effects of Violence Against Women and Children and to contribute to the prevention of the same. East Lothian Council and Midlothian Council seeks to appoint a Provider who can provide support to women and children who are affected by gender based violence. The purpose of the service is to provide an appropriate, accessible, secure and safe accommodation, and associated support services, for women, transgender women and children experiencing domestic abuse and other forms of gender based violence. This will include both practical and emotional support. The service will be flexible and responsive to the individual's needs of women, transgender women and children across East Lothian and Midlothian. As part of this contract you will be provided with up to ten properties within each Local Authority area through a lease arrangement.
