St Helens Borough Council is seeking to understand the market’s capacity and appetite to deliver a comprehensive, modern, and community-focused market operations, The Council currently operates two markets; Earlestown Market and the new St Helens Market Hall. Both markets play a vital role in the borough’s economic, cultural and social fabric. Earlestown Market, one of the oldest traditional street markets in the country, and St Helens Market Hall, which is being reimagined as part of major town centre transformation. As part of the Council’s wider regeneration and growth programme, we are seeking to identify operators with the capability, ambition and creativity to elevate our markets to a high-quality, diverse, and commercially sustainable offer.
