Tender description

TEWV require the provision of a General Practitioners time to provide advice and guidance to the North Yorkshire and York CAMHS Community Eating Disorders team. The service is to be provided weekly sessional basis to provide an average of 4 hours per week support. The General Practitioner will provide: • Email, telephone or tele video and in person advice and guidance and assessment of a young person when there is a clinical need to do so, to assist TEWV medics with prescribing and treatment. • Input into treating patients following the MEED (Medical Emergencies in Eating Disorders) guidance . • The General Practitioner will provide advice and guidance to both our duty clinicians and referrers. Lot 1: TEWV require the provision of a General Practitioners time to provide advice and guidance to the North Yorkshire and York CAMHS Community Eating Disorders team. TEWV are intending to award a contract an existing provider following direct award process C under PSR Regulations. The contract is for a period of 12 months. to be provided from 1st April 2026 to 31st March 2027 Additional information: This is a Provider Selection Regime (PSR) intention to award notice. The awarding of this contract is subject to the Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023. For the avoidance of doubt, the provisions of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 do not apply to this award. The publication of this notice marks the start of the standstill period. Representations by providers must be made to decision makers by `10/04/2026 12pm. This contract has not yet formally been awarded; this notice serves as an intention to award under the PSR.
