INFOBLOX DDI (DNS, DHCP, IPAM) REFRESH

Tender description

<br />IT Services plans to upgrade and modernise its current Infoblox network management system, which manages key services such as DNS, device address assignment, and IP address tracking across the University’s network. In simple terms, this system helps devices connect to the network, automatically gives them a network address, and allows computers to find services such as websites and applications through DNS (the service that translates website names into the addresses computers use to communicate). The current system is approaching end-of-life, meaning it will soon no longer receive updates or vendor support, so it needs to be replaced.<br />The University intends to continue using Infoblox and is seeking a qualified partner to supply, install, and migrate the existing services to the new platform. The migration should be carried out with minimal disruption to the University’s network services and users.<br />
