This tender is for undertaking tree planting works on Crown Estates Scotland split into 3 blocks. The planting area amounts to approximately 15.41ha plus two beat up compartments amounting to a further 2ha in total. Lot 1: The proposed tender involves carrying out the planting of mixed/native woodland compartments @ 1600trees/ha, and a commercial beat-up compartment to be planted @2700 trees/ha on the CES, Applegirth Estate in Dumfriesshire. The works are to facilitate the restock of compartments felled due to the issuance of Statuary Plant Health Notices presented in 2017/18 and 2020/21.
