Supply of Fixed Wing Drone

Tender description

The Customer wishes to appoint one or more Contractor(s) to provide a Fixed Wing Drone to support the expansion of the Drone Fleet and the operators of the devices in line with variety of diverse operations, to continually improve and enhance Policing. Devon and Cornwall Drone Team currently utilise several different aircraft which are operated through rotary or propeller functionality. A Fixed Wing Drone poses fundamental benefits to further efficiently deliver their services to the wider Force, regionally or nationally through Mutual Aid work. The objective of this tender is to further enhance the team's capabilities, enabling the Drone Team to continue to providing air support and situational awareness for a variety of policing situations, including spontaneous and planned Emergency Service Incidents, searches for missing persons, investigative support, Road Traffic Collisions, Major Crime, and Event planning and management using Fixed Wing capabilities.
