The 'Lift Up Project Pilot' aims to deliver a cultural awareness employability programme specifically designed for ethnic minority women. This initiative seeks to enhance employability skills, promote cultural awareness, and support the integration of ethnic minority women into the local workforce. Objectives • To provide tailored employability training for ethnic minority women. • To increase cultural awareness and sensitivity among participants. • To support participants in overcoming barriers to employment, through signposting to mainstream or Council funded employment support projects. • To engage and support participants who have moved into employment programmes or employment to ensure a smooth transition. • To foster a supportive community network for ethnic minority women.
