Tender description
To provide outpatient physical health monitoring in accordance with NICE guidelines for children and young people with eating disorders who have been discharged to the community. This is an essential service which forms part of the recovery pathway for children and young people with eating disorders. The provision by UHBW is on an interim 12-month basis following the withdrawal of delivery by Primary Care providers in BNSSG on 26 January 2025. The service delivered by UHBW will replicate the service previously offered by Primary Care. This urgent award was made in order to ensure continued provision to allow this vulnerable patient group to be supported in treatment and recovery. There is a requirement to award a new short term contract of 12 months whilst the procurement exercise is put in place to award a new contract. Lot 1: The provider will deliver physical health monitoring for children and young people with eating disorders on an interim basis for 12-months.
