Tender description

The Health Service Executive propose to construct Phase 1, of the new Community Nursing Unit, which comprises of a total of 48nr beds; with and including all ancillary accommodation, external works and site development works in compliance with statutory regulation SI 415/2013 and SI 293/2016. The new two storey building comprises Single Bedroom Ensuite accommodation, Activity Rooms, Quiet Visitor Rooms, Dayrooms/Sunroom, Assisted Bathrooms, Dining Rooms, Kitchen/Servery, Dirty Utility/Sluice Rooms, Consumables Stores, Equipment Stores, Office CN Manager, Offices all as will be detailed with the works requirements at stage (ii) of this procurement process. Works will be completed on a phased basis within a live community hospital facility adjacent, with no disruption to services allowable. In order to ensure the continued operation of the hospital, a high level of management, safety, noise and vibration control, dust and infection control procedures will be required on site, with the needs of the residents, staff and visitors considered at all times.
