The Scottish Government has a requirement to place a contract with an external service provider for the provision of an Exploration Project for a New Digital Childcare Service by means of a competition under Lot 2 of the Digital Technology and Cyber Services Dynamic Purchasing System. Lot 1: The Scottish Government has a requirement to place a contract with an external service provider for the provision of a School Age Childcare Programme Exploration Project for a New Digital Childcare Service. The purpose of the School Age Childcare (SACC) programme is to “build a system of SACC by the end of this Parliament, providing care before and after school, all year round, supporting parents and carers – particularly on low incomes – to have secure and stable employment. Those on the lowest incomes will pay nothing.” The School Age Childcare programme has a number of workstreams covering policy design, stakeholder and public engagement, people-centred design, tests of change and digital service Discovery. This procurement shall engage a strategic partner (or consortium) to provide the specialist digital and design skills needed to drive forward our commitment.
