Severn Trent Water Limited and Hafren Dyfrdwy Cyfyngedig (together, "The Utilities") have obligations to prepare, submit and publish a wide range of information required by their stakeholders including Ofwat, the Drinking Water Inspectorate (DWI), the Environment Agency (EA) and Natural Resources Wales. The information disclosed by The Utilities must be well founded and accurate. Therefore, the Utilities seek to appoint a professionally qualified technical auditor with specialist expertise in the water industry. Lot 1: The supplier of assurance service forms a core part of the Utilities' assurance process, providing independent challenge and regulatory, technical insight on approaches and processes. The assurance supplier is key to enhance the Utilities' assurance maturity as well as delivering specialist expertise through process and data audits. The assurance Supplier has specialist expertise including financial and business management disciplines and supports non-financial ESG reporting requirements such as Taskforce on Climate-related Disclosures and Taskforce on Nature-related Financial Disclosures.
