The Marine Directorate of the Scottish Government invites a tender from demersal trawlers of overall length greater than 25.9 metres to undertake a single trawl anglerfish survey in the North Sea ,West of Scotland and Rockall, ICES areas IVa and VIa and VIb. The charter will be a minimum of 16 days duration, starting 21st April 2025 from a Northeast Scottish Port (at the discretion of overseeing scientist and master). The charter duration will have the option to be extended up to a maximum of 16 days following the scheduled end date as required. The vessel will preliminarily end the charter and land the catch in the port of departure on the 6th May subject to no extension being implemented. Notification of any extension requirement will be given by 25th April 2025.
