PRE MARKET ENGAGEMENT FOR BSP-25-003 SUPPLY OF AUTOMATED EXTERNAL DEFIBRILLATORS (AED) AND ANCILLARIES

Tender description

The purpose of the preliminary market engagement exercise is to understand the extent of suppliers in the current market who are can supply and delivery AEDs to schools throughout Northern Ireland. At this stage, any information gathered through this Exercise will inform internal business planning and any possible subsequent procurement process and will NOT be appraised in any future tender evaluation exercise. For the avoidance of doubt, this is the scoping phase and is not part of a formal procurement process. EA have been tasked with setting up a contract for the supply of AEDs to schools across Northern Ireland. These AEDs must be suitable for both adults and children. It is estimated that around 500 schools will require AEDs in 2025. It is possible that some of the AEDs will have to be kept in an outdoor cabinet. It is expected that deliveries will commence in June 2025 and be completed by end of October 2025. Further details will be provided in a specification when the tender is published. Note: Should EA decide to run an Open procurement competition, it is the intention of EA to publish the procurement exercise on eTendersNI before the end of February 2025.
