Tender description

Operation & Maintenance of UoD Campus High Voltage Network & Equipment, Including Emergency Callouts, PPM Maintenance for All UoD High Voltage Assets Including 24/7 Emergency Callout Coverage. Lot 1: The University of Dundee are seeking a competent contractor to complete HV Service and Maintenance and General Duties. To control all activities on the designated system, such activities only being performed by persons authorised in writing and in strict accordance with the Distribution Safety Rules and current operational procedures. To provide appropriate Authorised Persons to undertake the work of switching, isolation and earthing and the issue of the relevant documentation required for the work detailed by the University. To provide appropriate Authorised Persons to undertake the location and organise the repair of faults on the designated system. To maintain records of the high voltage system from information provided by the customer and to make provision for the supply of such records as may be requested by them. To prepare a programme of inspection and maintenance of the designated equipment and to make provision for the necessary skilled staff to undertake such work. To provide as required such test equipment, including specialist equipment, as is available within, for the purpose of fault location or testing. To maintain such diagrams of the designated system as may be required, comply with written instructions, and to provide an operational schematic diagram in each indoor substation. To “Inform the customer of equipment issues, relative to their contract, which have been highlighted / identified on National Equipment Defect Reporting Scheme (NEDeRs), and as per the Maintenance Specification.
