UTG Public Affairs support service

Tender description

The public affairs support service will provide UTG with: - A curated political intelligence and monitoring package which focuses on the interests of the organisation. It should alert UTG staff to: Parliamentary and Whitehall activity, focused on transport that includes, for example, business of the house, parliamentary questions, select committee updates, daily news, breaking news, consultations updates, forward look, think tanks and devolved news – in relation to transport, as well as any mentions of UTG in the wider political sphere. (The format and content of the monitoring service can be agreed in detail at the start of the contract and be periodically reviewed. However, we would expect a complete parliamentary monitoring service to form the basis of the package). - additional information (on request from UTG) on Parliamentary and Whitehall matters relevant to the organisation; monthly research time into a political subject or area of interest to UTG. - access to an email (mail out) service to Members of Parliament. - access to an online database of Parliamentary, civil service and wider stakeholder contacts and a library of documents (for example, transcripts of debates or legislation). - ad hoc public affairs advice to UTG on how to engage with specific target stakeholders and their staff. - a consistent and long-term named lead contact, or contacts, with demonstrable experience and skills which enable them to fulfil the above tasks.
