Trafford Council is preparing a new Local Plan and require new parking standards for the district. This commission will need to review the existing parking standards and produce new parking standards which reflect the new Local Plan policies and requirements A draft Local Plan was published in 2025 and this study will need to inform the final version of the plan which will be published for consultation in Summer 2026.
