Tender description

Natural stone roofing to cover up to 217 square metres of roof, such as: Collyweston slates, Cotswold slates, and other similar limestone roofing, or sandstone tiles from Herefordshire, mid Wales, Derbyshire and suchlike.NOTE: To register your interest in this notice and obtain any additional information please visit the Sell2Wales Web Site at https://www.sell2wales.gov.wales/Search/Search_Switch.aspx?ID=159614. Stones are to be riven or frost cleft, not sawn, and edges are to be hand dressed to include a drip at the lower edge. Slates with sawn edges are not to be used.Stone slates are to be sound existing or second-hand best or be new best slates of type as specified.New and/or second-hand slates are subject to the prior approval of a representative sample by the Architect (sizes, colours and textures to be within an agreed range).(WA Ref:159614)
