Tender description

Scheme management and delivery, including grassland machinery hosting, maintenance and lending Lot 1: To support landholders managing species-rich grasslands within the Cairngorms National Park, the Cairngorms National Park Authority is establishing a machinery-lending scheme. Two pieces of specialised equipment have been procured by the CNPA—a Ryetec Contractor Flail Mower Collector and a Chapman ATV Flail Mower—these will be made available to local land managers to support biodiversity-focused cutting, collection, and restoration work on lowland managed species-rich grasslands. The scheme will operate outwith bird breeding season and will be available for sites where livestock are not available to manage the grassland. We are seeking a contractor to securely store, maintain, coordinate, transport, and oversee the safe use of this equipment.
